This paediatric first aid course combines online learning with practical classroom training to provide a flexible and effective way to gain your qualification. The online portion takes approximately 6 hours to complete and can be done at your own pace, allowing you to pause and return whenever it suits you.

The course includes instructional modules, videos, and multiple-choice quizzes at the end of each topic to help reinforce your understanding. Progress is saved automatically so you can complete the training over multiple sessions.

The training follows the full Ofsted syllabus for childcare providers and is suitable for anyone working with children under 12, including those in nurseries, schools, and childcare settings. The online training provides the theoretical knowledge required before attending the practical in-person session.

After successfully completing both the online training and practical course, you will receive a nationally recognised Paediatric First Aid qualification valid for 3 years.

The Health and Safety Executive recommends an annual 3-hour refresher to help maintain your first aid skills.
